本賞は，日本ロボット学会学術講演会で研究発表を行った30歳以下の研究者（博士学生，ポスドク，若手教員も含む）が対象で，2021年に開催された第39回日本ロボット学会学術講演会における受賞枠はわずか4名（300件を越える若手講演の1.4％未満）でしたが、斬新なソフトポンプに関する講演を行った森君が見事受賞となりました．

This award was established for encouraging excellent young robotics researchers under 30 years of age (including doctor students, post-doctoral researchers, and young faculty members) who make research presentations at the RSJ annual conferences.
The number of awardees was only 4 for the 39th RSJ annual conference held in 2021 (only 1.4% or less among over 300 presentations by young researchers), but Mr. Mori, who presented about a novel soft pump, won the award successfully.
